I would have gladly purchased a classic and given up the busy days anyway. While it would be sweet if a JFBB pass was valid at Snow, it does get 50% off of a lift ticket at Snow which may keep me from heading further north next season (maybe). I think what it boils down to is that people wouldn't buy a Noreaster if their JFBB ticket got them a free pass at Snow.
Ok update. It looks like the JFBB pass may or may not get 50% off at Mt. Snow. This is from www.JFBB.com
"When you purchase your season pass at JFBB, it not only gets you through our doors, but also 50% off lift tickets at the following Peak Resorts ( Boston Mills/Brandywine, Crotched Mountain, Snow Creek, Mad River Mountain, Paoli Peaks, and Hidden Valley). Visit www.peakresorts.com
for more information on these other GREAT ski areas.
If the purchase of the Mount Snow ski resort and the Attitash ski resort is completed by Peak Resorts, Inc., it is anticipated that a combination of products for season passes will be sold beginning April 9, 2007 , or earlier."
It looks like this was written before the aquisition of Mt. Snow / Attitash so it's unclear if the JFBB pass will get 50% off at Mt. Snow based on this. I may just call one of these days to find out for sure.
