May Powder

Slider I'd know those pants anywhere, how many GUYS do you know wearing leopard skin ski pants. Hey nice powder for May! Awesomely smooth/well groomed picnic table. Hey in the hot tub this AM it snowed - about l/32nd of an inch. Almost got out my ski's but didn't have the right wax. oh well.

This last week the snow at Bachelor was terrific. Today we got the warmer temps we knew were coming and it was a bit on the sticky side (although thunderbird help up fairly well throughout the day). I'm hoping the fresh snow will turn to corn quickly cause the sticky stuff is for the birds!

BTW, I put on a heavy structure with a riller bar to see how much of a difference it would make. There was a difference, but not enough to cancel out the suction effect.

looks great guys - knew I should have taken another day - was up in Vancouver last week but no time to ski

May 20, the last day for the Mt. 1 more snowstorm before summer.

Nice. I was thinking the last front might bring some goodness. Sorry we missed you. I had to get going and you had to work . Had a great time working out stuff with Max. I'll be back next year and I'll make sure I'm there for at least one weekend day so I can ski with you and Mattitude also

I had reciprocal agreements to ski there and on the third day a differant person was there and said they wouldn't honor it. They did give me a half off deal.
It struck me odd they would be so desperaste for my 16.50. It was BS not honoring an agreement they are supposed to uphold. It didn't make me feel too welcome. The other workers I met there were all very friendly and helpful when asked.
I'd have to third that from my perspective.

Don't know too many people in leopard skin but there's this guy I know who wears his family tartan, the California branch of the McRib clan.

Check out that plaid...

By the way, very nice pow shots for May 20, I'm sure more than a few of us are jealous. Are we still worried about global warming???

wait'll i break out the camo pants next year!

BTW, perhaps I'm a bit slow on the uptake, but where were these May Powder Pix taken? I re-read the first post and it just said "The Mountain."

Last time I checked there were quite a few mountains here and about (or if this is Canadian snow we're talking about should I be saying "aboot"?)

DOH!

I'm sure I speak for us all when I say that this will be a highly anticipated premiere. Are the camo pants coordinated with your new Stihl hat???

Looks like Mt. Bachelor to me, didn't I see the outback lift in one of those shots? I think the reference to the infamous Pow(d)er Corp is also a big tip off. Their season used to be quite a bit longer until the locals relinquished control a few years ago. They usually have skiable snow into July.

Yes it is Mt. Flachelor, we just don't advertise.

Nothing to advertise!!

It sucks here, and Powder Corpse sucks as well.....

Good luck Killington locals!
