Copper was sweet but crowded today, I got to ski two runs off the American Eagle prior to lineup with Bong (another Epicski member). He already looking for skiing feedback so he can prepare for level 2. Cool!!!
Ptarmigan off of the Excelerator was open and a bit bumpy-really didn't have time to get up there.
Had great lessons in both the morning and afternoon. My morning student was that early season instructor dilemma where he needed some long green runs to get him some milage and we could work on steering his feet but that terrain isn't available and the blues that are open are beyond his skill set (and safety would be a major issue with the crowds). So we managed to find a whole bunch of stepping, steering and balance drills we could work in the beginners area.
In the afternoon I had a delightful Chinese family of four, beginners, two of whom had just flown in from China the day before. Just an absolutely fun and challenging afternoon,
The season has begun-now where is that bottle of ibuprofren.
