Supporter Renewal: A request from the scrivener

Hi folks,

I have a very simple but important request. Please include your username when you send in a Supporter subscription. Some people use different email addresses for registering at epicski and paying through PayPal. I always send a note when I can't find an epicski username associated with the email addy, but sometimes it goes unheeded for some time (some forever) in which case I can not upgrade the account and they never receive their benefits.

If you have sent in a subscription but your title has not changed to EpicSki Supporter, please contact me and we'll get it straightened out.

Since I was one of the people who forgot to put my user name on the first donation I sent to EpicSki, I understand how easy it is to forget to include it in a payment.
Something so simple can make it so much easier.

How do you want us to send in a user name with our subscription when we use Paypal? I don't see anywhere to enter it. I'm probably missing something obvious, which is my usual mode of operation.

PayPal has a window for comments or directions when you make a payment.

Hey ,another bothersome suggestion but why not place our subscription date on our personal profile page somewhere. Like under our join date but only on our personal page
Maybe it could be helpful for both parties in this exchange

What Kneale said ^

If the user's registration email is the same as the Pay pal email, it can be searched, but it makes it so much easier if the user name is put in the comments box on the pay pal payment.

Its easy to forget to include your username. As I stated earlier, I forgot, when I made my donation, and I should know better.

Recently we've had a few supporter subscriptions that did not include the username, and were not found using an email address search.
If you are someone who's has not been upgraded and have made a donation, please send me a PM.
