Sat 4.14 @ Alpine Meadows it was snowing wet and the conditions were dust on death cookies. Rode my King Salmons gingerly.
Sun 4.15 @ AM it was overcast and a reprieve from a night of light snow. Started out on 177cm Karmas. Re-affirmed my stance that they are way too squirrely. Ditched 'em after two runs that had me WAY in the back seat and feeling unsteady.
Jumped back on the King Salmons (180cm) and after about 2 runs felt much, much better. This is becoming my defacto go-to all mountain ski that seems to handle everything fairly well from groomers, hardpack, and pow. I also feel incredibly comfortable on them, which is aces as they instill as sense of confidence in me that has been lacking on some of the other skis I am slowly whittling away from my quiver (Titan 9 has the same "feel", btw).
