I'm not really a fan of the graphics, but some of you people just blow me away, you see a gun and get all butthurt and offended waa waaa.
I don't agree with the guy that said painting a ski is a "dis to the ski" but you people are babies.
To the guy who said you want to sheild your daughters from depictions of violence, what violence is on those skis? A firearm? I'm sure your daughters see far worse and more graphic depictions of violence every single day.
Good thing our founding fathers had more balls than you guys do.
Funny, I never actually followed this thread until it resurfaced today. Never read these posts.
Got nothing against guns, but don't own any except the Fast Deer pellet rifle that I keep in the family room for chipmunk control. Definitely want my kids to learn to handle a gun properly when they show some interest.
If you think an urban warfare scene is great for your ski, then by all means keep them that way. I'll paint mine, cause they're mine.

Gotta read the rest of this thread now.
Oh yeah, one edit -- if I were a pacifist/hippie, would I work at a major global defense contractor? When I bring the kids to work on bring your kids to work day, they see guns...mounted on trucks, massive gattling guns mounted in the nose of A-10s, and they've even flown a full scale helo simulator that allowed them to "virtually" shoot up our work campus. They've sat in a Vietnam era Huey with patched bullet holes. They ask innocent but poignant questions about war. But that's work. Skiing is not work...it's play. I try not to mix the two.
