Anyone skiing at Killington Saturday?

I don't know the mountain at all, but will be seeking out bumps, steeps, trees, and maybe a groomer or two. Anyone else planning to do likewise?

I was at Killington for the Gapril Phools Bumphest last week. The bumps are over on Bear Mountain (home of Outer Limits). The coverage was getting thin at the Wildfire / Bear Claw junction, and on Wildfire itself. The new snow this past week might be hiding some rocks and other stuff. Tread with care if you have skis you care about.

Coverage is really good on the stuff off the Superstar chair, and the Canyons (off the K1 gondola) looked pretty solid, coverage wise, as well. Didn't see any real bump trails off those chairs though (although Superstar itself had bumps on the lower headwall).

Edit: I won't be at Killington tomorrow. Just an FYI of places to look

Moguljunkie........You're a funny funny guy!
You don't show up at Gapril Phools Day BumpPhest, and NOW you post a quest for Bumps. Something tells me, you have a keen sense of humour.

Look what you missed!

Last week's absence was work-related. But it looks like Ullr is rewarding me for my sacrifice.

Thanks, Kevin, for the tips. I've been reading some posts over at Killingtonzone and trying to write down the names of slopes people are reporting as being in great shape.

Actually still debating whether to drive further up to MRG and enjoy a last ride on the old single. They got a lot of snow, but it's hard to imagine there's any base underneath it. Would definitely have to bust out the rock skis. Oh, wait, I don't have rock skis. Hmm, maybe after tomorrow I will.

I'll be skiing with other Bears on Sunday at K-ton. Look for a big guy in an orange Northface hooded jacket, light gray pants and my silver carbonfiber Fischer Scenio S500 (rock) skis with Look bindings.

PM me for lodging location & phone #.

Wish I could ski Sunday. I don't think I can get out of other Easter plans, though.

Yeah, I saw that. Am I mistaken or are my taxes funding that lunacy?

I thought Belleayre's snow report was amusing. After they got 2" of snow (which was probably really 1/4"), they're now reporting packed powder conditions. Yeah, right.:

You were missed, but it looks like the conditions for you this week will definitely be better!

I figured you knew kton because you were there for Bumpphest last year.

I know Outer Limits well. That's all we skied. Now leaning toward MRG, though. Buckethead will be there. Said it was unbelievable today. It's April, right?

Watch out for Buckethead...........: He'll wear you out on the moguls!
But then, you are Moguljunkie, so you'll have no problem.

Have fun at MRG, I wish I'd had time to go there when I was in VT.
