Back in my younger days I always had the fantasy of spending a season being a ski bum out west. Well, now I have the time to do it. I am amazed at the cheap season passes just posted and am thinking I might get one and do my ski bum fantasy next season, for a couple of months anyway. I have skied Steamboat back in the eighties one week, but mostly skied Michigan. My question is - Which season pass has the better all mountain western experience, The Rocky Mountain Super Pass Plus (Copper, MJ, WP, and Steamboat) or the Colorado Plus (Breck, Keystone, A-Basin, Vail and Beaver Creek). I will have a car and will be looking for cheap lodging (dorms and youth hostels). I would also like to do some lessons. Any other ideas or suggestions you think would helpful? I just got back into skiing this year after a 20 year layoff, and I am more obsessed than ever.
