I remember once I got a link here.

It was to this guy who does an online weather report.

I can't remember his name or enough about him to find him through google.

But I do recall that he wrote his report in "editorial column" form, for lack of a better word and he had an update every few days.

And he did it in plain english too.

So, if this rings a bell with anyone and they know who this guy is who's page I am looking for, I'd appreciate it.

hey nakona,
Haven't seen you around for a while. Like the catchy title of your post, thought. I also use snow forecast, along with weather.com

Just clicked on biker's link. That's a different snow forecast to the one I use. Here it is:
There was another one I used, pisteoff.com (I think), but I haven't been there for a couple of years, and back then it only covered Europe.

Unfortunately snow-forecast.com has started asking for money everything except the 3-day forecast.

However good news is snow is forecast for Val d'Isere this week!

I think I know the one you are talking about, and am pretty sure that I read it regularly by linking to it from the Jay Peak web site. Unfortunately, with it being the off-season (although not for long) I can't seem to find any link to it from there and also haven't had any luck with searches.

My only suggestion would be to keep your eyes on the Jay site as the season begins and see if my memory serves correct.

Theres snow all over right now in Europe down to 1300 meters in some places. Yesterday green today white!
just check Snoweye 3 valleys and Val looking good. Hope the temps stay low.

Just as an aside. Anyone going to stump up for the detailed reports on snow-forecast.com? I've been using it for a few years now, and the 6 day forecast seems quite accurate.
I've actually checked it on hoilday in web cafes for the week ahead and its always been spot on.

How about our own weather report page?

By the way, I'm moving this to the community/site admin page and editing the subject line.
