Park City in last half of March next year

I'm thinking og staying in Park City in last half of March next year for family spring break. I noticed that this year it was very warm. How is it usually during that time frame?

It's definately spring conditions most years. The Cottonwoods are 45 min away, and the town is great, so stay here and drive over there every other day or so for the best snow. The groomers here are usually decent. Two years ago we had our best storm at DV in late March with 20" of super champaign fluff. But it's a crapshoot that time of year. The Cottonwoods are always dependable and the drive is pleasant. There's more to do at PC than the Cottonwoods( like, a lot more) and it's prettier than SLC, fo sho...

Why do you people torture yourselves? March anywhere can be a crap shoot, but you can always count on one thing: between storms will be slushy. It's just a matter of how often storms come up. March tends to end with already less frequent storms than eariler months. Do yourself a favor and book a Jan/Feb vacation. I personally would never pay good money for a ski vacation *anywhere* after February, but that's just me.
