Thread Starter
This forum is the best. It is educational, motivational, entertaining, fun, and usually friendly. What a diverse and interesting mix of members who all have a common addiction to skiing. Thanks to all of you who contribute and give me hours of pleasure reading your postings. Thanks to HRSTRAT57 for his thread on the Volkl Allstar, it was the reason I bought a pair of demo Allstar's. Thanks to all those who posted about the importance of tuning and how to, it convinced me to purchase tuning and waxing gear and tune my own skis. Thanks to all the threads and video's on carving and the new style of skiing, it's enabling me develop a new style of skiing after a twenty year absence. And last, Thanks to those who posted a welcome to my first post,- Tale of a born again skier.

EpicSki is EPIC!

Welcome, and be careful. This place has a way of exposing you to an addiction to snow, gear and fun!

We are all snow junkies and getting others hooked on our addiction is what every addict does, that way we don't feel so alone.

It's all about the gear.

Glad you've found us!
When I first discovered this forum I wanted to know about conditions at Sugarbush. Next time I logged on I've found the best deal for my husband's new skis. All my trips out west have been a blast because I've found so many useful information and tips from EpicSki members.
And not to forget the fact that surfing these pages is the best possible distraction from work.

Welcome and go ski!

True. I came to the site as a result of googling for ski reviews and here I sit in my office in Toronto looking at my newly arrived shiney M666s that I got in Dawgcatching's end of season sale. (thanks Dawgcatching!)

Be careful about that gear addiction. Philpug has potential to be a bad influence. Just got the new skis minutes ago and I'm already thinking I need a quiver with some real fat skis. And I don't live within 300 miles of a real mountain.

Great site with some great advice and good for laughs too (thanks largely to Jer).

Cheers

K

Is that a medieval ski reference ?
