Meet Morfdude, he needs a personality......and purpose

Introducing my buddy Morfdude. He can't type or read, but can make turns & defy gravity like no one else (so he thinks, even though his joints are currently fused).

Despite his bad hair, he thinks he's a pretty OK and a fashionable guy. However, I think he's is in dire need of:

-a Norfette
-friends
-a bio
-a personality
-a reason for being
-a sense of humor
-a quiver
-swag
-any other help you see fit

He is capable of displaying body positions and can ski anything in 3d (including your favorite runs). Even though he's not the sharpest knife in the drawer, and may take a awhile, he can also demo about anything that moves. And yes, he tunes his own skis and snowboards, etc. He also can be seen hanging out and making turns with other Bears and celebrities. You just never know when he'll show up and what he'll be doing....

(Specially thanks to skier219 for lending Morfdude your Karmas. )

Nicely done, 3dWright.

He needs some instruction, though. And longer poles.

How does he ski uphill in that pow?

…you're scaring me Alpinord. This is just the first step in creating your new world…a seemingly harmless method of introduction and seduction. A most diabolical plot. Count me in!!!

Pretty cool! Tell you what, if you can put Morfdude into a symmetric body position (perhaps a tuck?) and tidy up his joints a little bit, I can grid him up and run a CFD simulation to look at the aerodynamics. He'll probably want a helmet for that too...

Oh, I forgot to ask -- does he have a girlfriend yet? She would probably look good in a speed suit....

World Domination is always a good purpose.

Good eye on the poles. Turns out they were 10cm too short. I gave him an older pair of mine.

Regarding lessons, he's very tentative of taking a lesson with anyone after an embarrassing experience at Steamboat. He hooked up with the guy below who tried to teach him about 'Rail Riding'. The part about the stirrups really confused him and when he tried to do some Rail Riding in a park, all of the kids laughed at him when he asked, "Where are are the stirrups." Needless to say he wasn't happy and when I asked him if this 'instructor' was PSIA certified, he kept saying, "Yes.....Phil Says It's Alright!". :

So, if anyone has any recommendations on someone else to teach him and help Morfdude 'get back in the saddle', he'd appreciate it.

Regarding a tuck and aerodynamics, we'll have to get back to you on that.....he's looking for Ms Right also.

pretty lonely huh?

I missed this thread somehow. Interesting how Phil gets around, but I always suspected him of being a rail rider.

I'm thinking Morphdude might be a good addition to the instruction forums. Maybe you should introduce him to Barnes?

With his contrarian view on about everything, he'd get banned pretty quickly.

(Barnes did have dinner with his alter ego and couldn't stop rolling his eyes...) :

Uncle Louie and I will make sure we invite Morphdude to Let's Go Kentucky. I bet he'd love our terrain!

On the contrary (...pun intended), you have already established two months back that MD is adept at redefining acronymns for teaching systems, to serve the need. Seems to me he'd fit right in to current discussions? ....

Since I can't understand either him or the discussions half the time, maybe he would fit right in. He is adept at demos....so he thinks. Hopefully, he'll learn how to tele this summer and demonstrate free heelin'...
