2008 Fischer Progressor Info Needed

I was wondering if anyone had any information or has demoed the new 2008 Fischer Progressor such as sidecut, Radius, lengths available, construction etc. Also if you have skied it what length would you recommend for a 5' 10", 215 lb aggressive skier? Thanks

I skied it in 170cm at 5 foot 9, 152lbs. You could go 170 or 175, depending if you wanted a mid-radius carver, or a longer-feeling GS carver.

Progressor Info

Is the Progressor more recreational or more race oriented in your opinion? I'm kind of looking for a slightly shorter radius higher end recreational ski with a little versatility to compliment my Worldcup RC's in 180cm. I would also maybe even consider this ski as a Nastar cheater ski, this would make a difference in length selection. Do you know what lengths are available and at what radius? I understand this ski has a sandwich construct with vertical sidewalls, is that correct? How doe's this ski compare with the Head Supershape, I owned a pair in 170cm and found them soft and squirrely at higer speeds? Thanks

Correct in the construction and a 175 would be great for Nastar. I believe it's a 16m radius in a 175.

Does anyone know if the plates will be Tyrolia specific or universal? I am warrantying my skis and would like to be able to carry my atomic bindings over if i switch to the fischer.

I'm guessing its a variation of the FlowFlex plate and would require a Fischer/Tyrolia binding.bhhbb

165/170/175, mid radius 14m, basically a hybrid of the RC and SC, but wider underfoot and a little more versatile.

What are your thoughts on this ski for Nastar vs the Worldcup RC, i'm guessing the progressor is maybe a little to turny? The ski has a similar radius to the RX8 how do the two compare and also against the Head Supershape that I'm sure Fischer is targeting? At 215lbs would you opt for the 175cm? Thanks
