We came home yesterday from a week in Taos. The snow was still very good, especially on top of the mountain. The only afternoon slush was at the bottom and on some of the stretches of green "roads" farther up. Ski instructors were concerned about how quickly the base will melt over the next few weeks if there is no additional snow. If you expect spring conditions, you should be fine. I understand that the week of March 19th is Lousisana spring break, and they are expecting big crowds.
