Tuning is easy once you have all the right stuff. You really don't need more then about $200.00 to get a good set up.
Remember the bases only need to be flat, not perfect looking. I only stone grind about evey 50 day's or more.
When your start out tuning just go slowly, the idea is to take off as little metal as possible to get the skis sharp. You want them babies to last.
Don't worry to much about doing damage to your p-tex. If you ever saw the bubbled bases on my AX3's you would be amazed. They ski great.
