Bud (and Rick Fastman, I believe), this kind of exclusivity will never happen. None of the coaches or top pros I know would participate in it. None of the epicski moderators want this to happen either. The vitality of epicski is in the participation of its members. And you don't have to have a lot of qualifications to express wisdom or insight.
It would be nice, though, if some of the so called experts expressed themselves in the form of questions rather than dogma. But I get it that they don't. When I was younger, I knew everything VERY well. I know much less now. Seems like there was a Bob Dylan song....
However, there may be something, like a guest column/editorial with q&a involved that we could put alongside of the normal back and forth. This might draw out some of the people who don't have time to tangle/tango.
an iceberg underneath, and it would be fun to mine it.
Guys like you and BB (and many others) are very generous with your time and exposure to conflict, and it would be nice to make it worthwhile for others of your caliber to do it as well.
One other thought here, is that a lot of the people who would be called upon to contribute are very busy professionals who have to prioritize their time toward what gives them a living for themselves and families. Others, as quick and glib as they are in a lesson, don't have the same fluency in this medium.
Let's keep track of the goal--quality online thought, advice, and information from those at the ESA coach level or equivalent--and figure out how to make it feasible, useful, and attractive, without making it restrictive, oppressive, or arrogant.

I can see from some posts above that I am not alone in wondering where along the line I/we fit into this heirarchy? Where do you draw the line? and who decides? Do I want to be in "the club"? If I am not, do I just log in to read in silence? or check out?....
Maybe there is a better solution somewhere?
I caution against potential alienations????
but then I don't know if I am qualified to say any of this?...
