Is this an insinuation that Powdermag.com is riddled with pre-pubescent teenagers that need a separate "playground" (IE: Powdermag.com) to voice their opinions, all of which are humanistically valid?
That's the way I perceive it.
I'm proud to say that I'm a member of Powdermag.com that is using EpicSki.com during their downtime due to a technical fubar. I don't agree with many of the moderators' philosophies, but I'll respect their rules and regulations because I know they pay for their bandwidth.
Unfortunately, I think as an indirect result of the rules/policy set, a breeding ground of intolerance towards the younger and less educated demographic of skiers has been created on EpicSki.com.
I could be wrong, but that's the implied attitude of intolerance I get when I read many of the posts here. And I think it's sad. We should encourage everyone
, regardless of age or level of education to ski and share their passion, without fear of being slagged for spelling mistakes/typos, bad grammar, using profanity, and that their opinions don't matter.
Let's feed off each other's enthusiasm for skiing. Hell, lets' feast on it!
