Actually Rick it makes perfect sense. Its the same position I find myself in when doing a chase video with a hand-held camera, at least for right turns holding the camera in the right hand (high and forward).

I was working with Wade Holiday Thursday and he gave me some great movements for turn initiation, as well as tactics in bumps and steeps. Sort of a lightening and retraction of the downhill foot at the end of the turn applying weight to the uphill leg which is in a stronger position to lift and turn. I'll have to start a thread and share some of those ideas. It is revealing to slow things down and work with someone with a trained eye.
