I have Salomon 1080 and it has asymmetrical sidecuts (one side has a shorter turn radius than the other), and it appears that I can have a tighter turn if I have the side with smaller turn radius as the inside edges.
But it is a lot easier to keep both skis parallel and carve the inside skis if outside edges have a smaller radius.
Maybe it is just all in my head and I can solve the problem by a tequila shot.

The Speedwave 14 which I just received may have an asymmetrical sidecuts. Or it may just be an optical illusion.
