Where to buy skis from 3-4 years ago?

Okay, now that Cupolo's is no longer in business, where can I go to get deals on older skis that are still new (undrilled)? Ebay is hit and miss, and I really get frustrated trying to snipe stuff off of there. Any ideas??

I found my Vollants in a sportmart or sportcheck
Ski shops still want 85% of msrp for skis that are 4 years old:. Maybe it's just me; car-dealers always want thousands more than their advertised sale price. That's one of the reasons why I still drive a '92 Chevy wagon.

Try Sierra Trading Post, Overstock.com, and e-bay. I just scored a pair of last years' skis that were originally $799 full retail for $229 on e-bay.

hudsonhacker,

What are you looking for in particular? I may have a great deal for you from my shop in Reno at way below wholesale. Let me know in a pm what you are looking for and I will let you know what I have.

On ebay... don't bid... Buy It Now!

Don't rush it, either... Some patients and you can find a good deal. My girlfriend just got a set of Metron 10s in plastic w/ bindings in box for $200 + shipping... Good deals can be had, but bidding takes too long.

BBV13, Thanks, exactly whay I was looking for. Should be able to pick up used kids gear there in the future as well.

Do they change what they have for sale very often?

Also, check out: http://www.untracked.com/c2-skis_ski_packages.html

they have a ton of previous year skis and seem very reasonable, obviously as the model gets older the price gets cheaper.

Try untracked.com for past model years' new skis.

I have some brand new in plastic Atomic SLs from a few years ago. Well, maybe a bit more than a few, but they are new

Simply do a search online and it will show up in any of the stores that carried it or still do. I can find nearly anything that way.

Kinda OT, but does anyone know where one can find deals like this for XC gear?
