It must be me, I don't get it. Where does the URL come from? Please bear with me, I'm illiterate.

Are you taking notes? Cause there's going to be a pop quiz.

The URL comes from a Server that is hosting said picture. If you have a photo on your hard drive you want to post then you must go to a free server website like photobuket or whatever and upload the pic. Then get the properties by right clicking on pic and copy it's file name. http://photobuket.com/album/1234.jpg <This a made up file name.

Here is a pic I posted. Right click on this picture and go to properties. Copy-paste into URL script box and that's it. Ok one more thing. You must post pictures of your daughter, wife and or girlfriend.

Under 'Additional Options' (below reply window), you can directly upload an attached image to the EpicSki server from your hard drive. IE:

OK, Prof Slider...

Your most excellent tutorial suggests that pics from hard drive must first be transferred to a web server, from whence they are pulled via URL.

The above suggests it is possible to upload directly from hard drive, but I am not seeing that option under "Additional Options." Or did some of you pay extra for the "Premium Epicski Cable Package" with special features?

Yet another reason to become a supporter?

I'm not sure if this is different for members, but here's the options I have. After selecting the Manage Attachment window, you get an upload window:

Ahaaaaa... Thanks, Alpinord.

I was kidding about the "Premium Cable Package"... but you do indeed have one additional feature (I have 3 addtl options showing below right now, you have 4).

I only stumbled into your midst in the last month (and I do mean stumbled), and haven't had time to decipher all the "ranks" yet... member, supporter, instructor, patroller, moderator, lurker, honker, tweeter, woofer, gaper, hacker, etc, etc. But I'd be happy to support a worthy cause, even if I never attach another photo!

Doooooood, I don't even ski or snowboard. I'm one of those armchair extremo mountain bro-brahs. It's a picture of a lady in Tremblant,Canada. I run a website with another skier who lives there. He's always taking pictures of skiers/riders at the resort for the page. Check it you want. http://www.tremblant-insider.com

PS-It's Mr.Slider..............
