I tried that ski last year at Heavenly. I'm coming at it from a different angle, though - I don't ski as much or in as difficult of terrain as you do. I also haven't been skiing a ton over the last few years, so keep that in mind.
That being said, I thought the ski was great. It didn't take much, if any, acclimation for someone who hadn't tried many shaped skis. Very stable at speed (nothing crazy, though), crud was no problem at all, great carver on groomed runs. I don't remember flex being an issue (I weigh 160 lbs. and it wasn't too stiff). My one complaint was that it has an above-average radius (16.5 @ 170). Shorter turns are a big preference of mine, which is why I wouldn't buy it for myself. Like I said, though, I am coming at it from a totally different perspective than you. Also, the fact that they increased the stiffness this year didn't help for that ski, as SJ (a frequent poster here and very knowledgeable person) pointed out when I asked him about it a few days ago. But for people who like to do big carves at speed, it seems like it would be a good choice.
