instructor recommendations for husband and wife

My wife and I are heading out to Park City in March and we're thinking about getting some lessons.

She's been skiing seriously about 3 years, and I skied for about 5 years growing up before giving it up for snowboarding, which I've done for the last 12. I'm trying to get back into skiing, so I rented skis earlier this year and wouldn't you know it, we're now both about the same level, probably about level 6 to 7. She's more comfortable than I am on steeper runs, I can make nicer turns on less steep slopes. She had a few lessons to start out but neither of us have really had lessons in shaped-ski parallel turn technique; we're both just pretty athletic and picked up what we do know from books and trial-and-error.

Can any of you recommend ski instructors or schools in Park City that would be good for the two of us to get lessons with? Or, if one of the Park City resorts has a better ski school than the others for skiers at our level, that would be good to know too. Really, any advice on finding good instruction out there for a couple at our level would be appreciated.

Thanks very much.

I can recommend Lenny Feldman at Park City. Check out his website YOUCANSKI.COM, the instructor's section, for his philosophy. If his approach appeals to you, he is your man! He has a lot of repeat business, so book early!
Good luck!

Mickey,

Have you checked out EpicSki's Instructor Listing? Based upon the experiences of other Barking Bears, you could not go wrong with Randy at Deer Valley or Gary at Park City.

Deer Valley's staff has the most certification experience, but you can find top quality instructors at any of the resorts in Salt Lake. I've had great personal experiences with the Deer Valley, Park City, Alta and Snowbird staffs.

Thanks for the recommendations! I'll see who I can get a reservation with.
