What amazes me about the response is that the company knows they have avery differnet kind of boot, and are so locked in with their current plan that they cannot see that the boot would sell well if they offered it with a different fit. The current fit is viewed as immutable, yet they tinker with the dsign freely. I don't get it, but on the other hand it looks like the biggest consequence is that Dalbello loses a potential sale, and I end up skiing in Nordicas.
Specific foot fit, is not exclusive with dalbello.
Go into any shop and a quality boot fitter will say, You have a lange foot, or you have a nordica foot, or you have a technica foot, or you had a dalbello foot. Thank goodness for the differences in the boot manufacturers so that all skiing feet can be happy feet.
One thing that you may notice tho, is that Dalbello has the Krypton line directed at low volume feet, while the V series is directed more toward the wider foot. At least they have that.
