Berkshire East or Gore Mountain?

I'm looking to get 2 days of skiing in this weekend. Coming from NYC it's about 4 hours to either place. First and only priority (considering the recent snow) is to avoid the crowds as much as possible. I have not been to either place so any input is greatly appreciated. Any suggestions for a better place is also welcome. Thanks.

Don't know about gore, but Berkshire East is great and does NOT get crowded. Plus they just got 2 feet of fresh snow and everything is finally open.

Lots of terrain, lots of variety, only 1,000 verts, but a great "skier's" mountain.

That is what I've heard and why I'm leaning toward Berkshire East at this point. I skied a lot at Jiminy as a kid, but now I've become spoiled by getting more days in the West the past few years. I'm just hoping to get some turns in without tripping over people.

darn near anything in NY state within 4 hours will be MUCH MUCH more crowded

gore has more than twice the VERT.... and it handles crowds well with with the whole mountian open

I would not hesitate to hit GORE...

the variety alone...

easy choice:
