Steamboat, more questions and help needed

We are staying in the condo area by the Gondola. I priced out rental cars...ouch, we are looking between $5-750 for a car that will be parked most of the time. Is there any Bears who would like to make some money shuttling a group of 6-7 from the airport and help do some shopping?

I am open to options.

If you're flying into Hayden, no car is necessary. Call Alpine Taxi. Their shuttle buses will take you from the airport to your condo and then back to your flight when you go home for about 55.00 per head. The free bus service in Steamboat, which is very good, stops at Safeway, City Market, Liquor Store, ski shops, etc...

If you're flying into Denver, nevermind...

That's RT. I've always used them, they do a good job and the drivers will give you a dose of "local color" on the way to the condo... I just checked their website and it said 48.00 RT PP

Phil, when are you going?

answered my own question 3/4-3/10

I won't be there then, too bad. Have fun

You do not need a car. Taxi from Hayden and free bus all over town.

Phil...I'll be there 3/2-6...not sure what days I'll ski...but we can only ski 3/3,4,5...but we should hook up! We know the area pretty well, and my friends I visit there each year have lived there for over 10 years.
Let me know your plans...or PM me.

'Boat Hookup?

P51Express,
Looks like our trips overlap:

Access to "local insight" would be good...
Maybe meet for some turns (with your pals: )?

Here's to hoping some of our PNW storms send the goods inland.

The bus or taxi won't take you to Strawberry Park hot Springs.

A must do.....go at night...take canned beer only....clothing optional !
