Too Short?

I recently got a pair of new skis for free from my local shop. To make a long story short, I had a pair of Blizzard CMX 10's in 163 that were ruined by a snowboarder, and I brought them back to the store. They have since given me new skis, the 07/08 CMX 11's in 159 to replace my old ones.

Here's my issue, is this a good idea to go down in length, even if it is a more advanced level ski? I had no problems skiing the 163 coming from a 160, but does the more advanced ski warrant a shorter length? By the way, my vitals are 5'9, 150 lbs. I guess I could be classified as a advanced intermediate.

At the same time, I feel like if I were to get the next size up, at 164, I don't know if it would be "polite" if I were to go back and ask them to switch.

Doesn't sound too bad, not too wide underfoot with a radius probably in the 13.5 to 14 range. For an eastern ski short radius ain't bad.
