Ski Magazine has this to say about the Volant Gravity 68: "So responsive it can be unforgiving to ham-fisted bashers." I have not idea what that means! Can you explain?

My biggest caution: I don't know how on earth they are measuring these things. A 183 barely measures 180. I would have purchased a longer pair online had I known this. But this is the only...

The ski doesn't need to be manhandled and responds much better to a deft touch.

How about SKI's review calling the Axis XP "telepathic"? I understand the testers are professional skiers, not writers; and there's good reason for that. But one has to wonder what the editor does for a living.

DTS,
That will be the new Axis XPi. It can pick up brain waves, combines that information with heart rate, blood pressure, and the attractiveness of the people watching you (based on your sexual preferences), and in turn either makes you turn with extreme style, mince down the slope, or fall all over the place (going for the sympathy vote), then when you get to the bar and are leaving them outside, they grow 20cm longer, so that you look like a better skier.
I believe that covers most of the features of the XPi.
There are rumours of anti-boarder devices, which will automatically steer you away from boarders before they hit you, and diamond tipped spikes which rise up on the tops of your skis if someone decides to go over them.
