My wife and I have been to Summit County, CO several times over the years. We've always been told to buy our lift tickets before we get to Summit County, as no discounts are available there. This year, it seems things have changed. We stopped at Maison de Ski in Idaho Springs, an easy stop along I-70, where we always get our tickets. This year we found they now have a vending machine that sells the tickets through www.livewiretickets.com. A 5 day ticket for Breckenridge, Keystone, and A-Basin, also good for Vail and Beaver Creek for 2 of the 5 days, was $310. Arriving in Summit County, we were in Sports Authority in Dillon and found the same kind of vending machine and the same ticket for $308. I *think* I recall that full price for this ticket is $405. Could we have done better closer to Denver? FYI, this was 2 weeks ago.
