Don't forget, in my book to qualify as a level 9 and above you have to be able to wave at the mountain goat on the way down and have a good time doing it.

Where is Harald from anyway, Norway? Or worse yet, Switzerland? It could explain a lot (anal retentive to a degree that may require irrigation to remove blockages in the cerebellum...)
Upon further review, I stand by my previous quote on this subject.

I think you gotta post pictures of poop to get banned there.

Tief Schnee was banned...and reinstated.
I'm actually aware of at least a dozen who have been banned on TGR, but Tief did beat the odds with his comeback. He is only the second person I know who was banned and reinstated.

Remember him?

.....looks around.........posts........then ducks....

Whatever happened to GONZO ???

Yep, although in my defence, someone else was posting from my computer.

They caused havoc for me in numerous places that took days to unravel.

The pictures they posted involved sex and poop.

I don't see a problem with how the Realskiers site is moderated. My understanding is that the purpose of the site is to provide information about the PMTS system. It is not a site to argue the merits of the system. This is a good thing for a person looking for specific help using PMTS. They do not have to filter through different philosophies and debates.

On the other hand, Epic is a more open forum for the exchange of ideas. It has its advantages. However, if someone is looking for specific advice, they will have to filter through the responses to decide what path they will follow.

So how is pointing out the limitations of PMTS not providing information about PMTS?

And that's not what I was bounced for anyway. It was an arguement about bicycle racing.

It is not the place for non-PMTS instructor to argue the shortcomings of PMTS. The forum is there to provide information about PMTS.

In spirit, it is against the openness of internet forums. On the other hand, it is HH's forum and he can do with it as he sees fit. if you don't like it, you can vote with your mouse.

But you didn't answer the question. How is providing a contray point of view NOT providing INFORMATION about PMTS? I'm simply providing the information that they don't want others to hear.

I got no vote. HH has the ultimate veto power.

fischermh, I think good debate can be healthy for his system. If it is as he says vastly superior to other teaching methods then good debate would only bring his approach more credibility. But that's just me.

Look he is selling his system. No salesman in their right mind would allow a competitor to set up in his shop.

By providing information, I may not have been clear. I meant specific advice, such as flex the stance leg to release, lift and tip, etc. Not things that are contrary to the PMTS system.

It is a sales pitch, disguised as a forum.
