Brad - where do I find the information for this event. Can you please post a link.   Thanks so much. Maryann Manion, Central. Hidden Valley, Missouri.

The Central Division's traditional spring rally (usually somewhere in Colorado) is being held in conjunction with this spring's National PSIA 50th birthday celebration.

You can register for the event through the PSIA-C events form available on the PSIA-C website.  You just can't find out any additional information there.  You can learn more about the national event on the national website and in the latest 32 Degrees magazine.

I THINK the event coordinator for Central this year is David Kamke, who arranged last year's Snowmass Spring Rally.  I'll try to check with him about that in the next couple of days.

Traditionally, PSIA-C's spring event has alternated among Snowmass, Vail and Steamboat, if I remember correctly.

David confirmed today he is coordinator for the Central Division's part in the blowout at Snowmass.  I'll try to gather whatever additional info he can provide about lodging and ticket rates for the event.  Last spring he arranged a very nice slopeside setting for the gathering that was pretty reasonably priced.

Hi Kneale

as far as I can tell, you get lift tickets included with the event (ie for as many days as you sign up), and you can also buy them for (registered) guests at $38 / day, quite a bargain

Also, Snowmass has its last day on Sunday April 10th but the highlands will be open until the 24th.

You may find Aspen flights are cheaper on the 11th or 12th vs the 10th

Thanks for the good info.  A couple of us from Hidden Valley are coming out for the event. Brad - if you are in the Chesterfield area - Hidden Valley is 40 East to 270 South, then 44 West to 1st Eureka Exit. Probably about 30-40 mins depending on traffic.

Some of us go out and ski on Friday afternoons. If you are in town let us know.

We go up to Harbor Springs in the summer. A bit cold up North I'm sure right now.

We missed most of the snow yesterday where we are (Clayton) but for sure - some places got dumped on. They closed Hidden Valley for two days - I assume becuase the ice forecast was so bad. They closed Hwy 70 from Wentzville to Kansas City yesterday - I don't recall that ever happening. We've had great snow so far this season.

Central Division participants in the two-day spring rally get lift tickets for those two days as part of the registration fee.  You have to pay whatever deal Snowmass is giving for days before and after the Central portion of the event and your  guest can get lifts for each of those days for the same fee.
