Toronto / S. (sort of) Ontario area

Blue Mtn. 3 high end machines, plus their old belt, plus hand,..hand,machine wax. Slopeside. How can they not be ultra good and honest?? The shop is basically on the hill..at the base..in front of the main lodge,hotel/condo's..you can ski to and from it.. where everybody walks by and can see them working through very large glass windows. Want a minor adjustment to the tune? Not happy? They fix it free. They are happy to do it their way..the reccommended way..or your way.

I have heard good things about Sign Of The Skier and across the street Sporting Life and also Skis And Bikes.

Sportchek in The Promenade mall. Ed does a great job!

Joe or Mark, Brent sold the shop a couple of years ago!

You are right. They just had not updated their website when I pulled the information off of it and I failed to catch it. Brent Amsbury moved to Texas, I believe.
Yup! No worries. I think he might be hanging in Park City part of the time!

You can find Brent at the MSR Forums. Or at least virtually...

This is a small shop affiliated with the Vermont shop of same name and website. Proprietor is former USST boot fitter for Lange. Very knowledgeable no BS, tried and true methods, in touch with race depts at manufacturers on latest specs, will have guvy shop this summer by the brew pub. Not unusual to run into ski teamers like Nyman in summer getting boots worked on while riding black diamond MTB behind shop.

Excellent rating

I'm with Voltron for Stowe - Edgewise all the way, Graham is a former World Cup rece tech, so he knows his stuff

In Summit County, I'd recommend Precision Skis in Frisco, across from Wal Mart.

... for what it's worth, I've used them both on recommendations of local bears teaching in local ski schools.

haha - i'll tell ya how, they pay their techs 10 bucks an hour. What kind of experience do you think they get for that amount. Go to an independant shop in that region, where you have service techs and bootfitters with decades of experience.
