.Low Pressure Moving Northward Along The Tennessee Valley Today Will Intensify As It Reaches The Ohio Valley By This Evening. Meanwhile... Another Low Pressure Center Will Move To Near The North Carolina Virginia Coast. Both Systems Will Move Northeast Overnight... And Strengthen. By Wednesday Morning... One Low Will Be Near Western Pennsylvania With The Other Close To The Delmarva Peninsula. By Late Wednesday Afternoon They Will Combine Into One Powerful Low Pressure Center Near The Southern New Jersey Coast... Which Will Continue To Strengthen. The Storm Will Slowly Drift Northeast From Near New York City To Along The Southern New England Coast Wednesday Evening... To Near Cape Cod After Midnight. The Storm Will Continue Northeast Toward Nova Scotia Thursday Morning.

Dangerous Winter Weather Is Possible Across Much Of Eastern New York And Adjacent Western New England Wednesday Morning Through Wednesday Night. Snow Will Begin Towards Daybreak Across Eastern New York And Western New England. The Rate Of Snowfall Will Increase Dramatically During Late Morning And Early Afternoon Hours... Then Gradually Taper After Midnight On Wednesday Night. Snowfall Rates Could Range From One To Three Inches An Hour Over An Extended Period Of Time For Some Locations. There May Be Some Sleet Mixing In With The Snow Across The Mid Hudson Valley... And The Litchfield Hills To The Southern Berkshires. Snow Accumulations Could Range From One To Two Feet... Especially From The Catskills Through The Greater Capital Region And Into Southern Vermont. Significant Snowfall Is Also Possible To The North And South Of These Areas.

Yep, they're forecasting two feet for the Catskills and southern NE, slightly less to the north.
