I can't help but notice a bunch of new smilies appearing in the threads. Where are they coming from?

Try here: http://www.stopstart.fsnet.co.uk/smilie/

You can just cut and paste teh code in and get the smiley results.

Weird, I just replied to this and the counter on the main page shows that there is a reply, but I can't see it here.

Try this site: http://www.stopstart.fsnet.co.uk/smilie/smilie.html

I just saw that my first post made it on here. D'oh, stupid impatience.

hey guys,
You might want to use those smileys a little less. I'm not sure on the impact to Epic Ski's website but I do know AC pays for bandwidth. (AC, you might want to let us know if they are having an impact) If they do take up a little more bandwidth, it may start costing AC more to run this site. Since it is a free site funded strictly by AC we might make it hard for AC to keep this site up.
Just a thought. I think they are great and a lot of fun but I do know AC is not on an "unlimited bandwidth and space" service plan.<FONT size="1">

Good Point Dchan -

AC please give us a little guidance here. I like these but....

It's O.K. I'm width the band

It doesn't waste AC's bandwidth, because the smiles are physically located on another server. The only bandwidth used is the text to make the link to the image. (considerably less than I have just typed in this one sentence).

Try http://www.plauder-smilies.com

The link at the bottom is to my smilies, which Gill mentioned. Since the link is written in German, I thought I'd let you know!

Pulling off someone elses server is not tolerated by certain web domains. It effects their bandwidth. Save the image and upload it to your server. Hint! Check the image file before you load it. A couple of posts here have a...well lets say redirect script in the image file.
