^^ "X" as in "ex east coaster" (or eXtreme East Coaster, you be the judge
)...I've done moved West....I'm in Reno now, ski the sierras.
The LPs were my first real fatty....I've since evolved into liking really HUGE skis so perhaps I'm tainted by the LPs being my easiest turner. When you switch from Big Daddys to LPs it's like swinging a baseball bat with the donut on, feels easy to swing when you take that donut off ya know. Since you own them already Kestner, all you can do is beat them into submission - they become easier to ski over time and really "break in" to be basically camberless and a much more pleasant ski.
Back on topic, I'd enjoy the LPs in some fresh back East for sure, they're my current fave in trees right now...but I agree, I probably wouldn't own them back East because they would not be the best tool for most days back there. Lot's of better options for that (ahem, iM88). If you aren't a huge person the 176 LP would probably make a nice EC ski.
