This is some effort! More of a Backcountry & Mountaineering topic but thought all would enjoy, some Sic lines. Check out Capitol Peak & the Crestones.

are you being a smart-aleck? I assume so. Aside from the fact that this has been going on for the last year, I still think it's incredible not just that he has the athelticism to do it, but that everybody else has the athleticism to follow him and film and document it. It's hard to believe that nobody got hurt, sick or that the weather even played its part for so long.
That many big peaks, in that short of a time requires a lot of luck.

The one day that blew me away was when he did Mt. Wilson, El Diente and Wilson Peak in one day. Chris climbed 8,500 vertical and skied off all three peaks. Look up the shots of him on the traverse to El Diente. It's some pretty hairy stuff.

That place just couldn't handle me, that's all. Funny that a JONG like yourself is on this site.

This place is much more civilized and actually has intelligent people on it.

Funny, weren't you over there too??: So, I guess that makes you a dumbass bro brah unintelligent douche too.

Whatever, I didn't need that place anyways. Pretty lame that they moderate and get their panties all up in a wad so quickly. Not my type of place.

Sorry for derailing this thread. BTW, Chris D. is da man. I was super impressed when he skied something like 20 peaks in 30 days this past spring. Now that is core.

Whatever man. Think what you want. You are the one who will perish in the end.

Ok ... call me a lame gaper. Thanks for bringing back some memories from 1966 for me. I did most of those in by Capitol, Castle, Maroon Bells and that stuff when I was seventeen.

Back then .... I never saw another person the whole time .. place must be swarming now.

More core than stealing a picture of a chick hucking a cliff, then removing the copyright and photoshopping the clothing and claiming it was you and putting it up on your myspace page?

not swarming at all. In fact almost nobody does them in the winter. You often find the registers blank from Oct to June.

The summer is a differnent story. Lots of traffic on all of the peaks

14er documentary

This film popped up alongside a Bear vid posted for MA. I couldn't find it on the site linked below, but assume it must be related to same project? Features Sean Crossen skiing all 54 of the 14ers in one year. Warning: 55 minutes long... but lots of good scenery and sliding!

p.s., Sorry if this has already made the rounds... my search of forum didn't pull up, but did lead me to your thread.
