Dude, you have to start emailing me when a new item is up. It seems like that is the only way to get to these things before they sell out!!
You know what you should do... Set up a list of people, maybe they could "subscribe" to be on this list, and send a mass email as soon as a new product is listed. If I am online, my email program has a little pop up when I get new mail, that way I would know the second something gets listed.
Another idea would be an "RSS Feed" I don't know if you have ever heard of that, but maybe you could set up your own website that kind of followed what is listed on SAC at any given time and again people could "subscribe" to your website with an RSS feed so that, at a glance, they would know what was listed at the time.
I use MSN as my home page, and they actually have a spot on the page specifically for RSS subscriptions. If you set up a web page I could subscribe to it and it would be on my home page at all times. You could call your website "SAC Tracker" or something like that.
Another thing you could do to help people out (this would be a little more complicated), but if you could write a program similar to an email popup, that would create a pop up when a new item is listed. Depending on how complex a program you wanted to create, it could even have a listing of what the product was or even a picture. We could call this a "desktop alert" or something like that...
I don't use instant messaging, but I know alot of people do. For those people (again, they could "subscribe" if interested) you could send an IM when a new product is listed.
Anyway, those are just some quick ideas I thought of. Any of those options would be much more efficient and quicker than checking in at epic ski gear swap every couple of minutes all day long.
Let me know if you decide to implement any of these ideas, cause I'd definitely be interested.
Thanks for your updates!!!
