Phil at Steamboat doing his annual 360.

I am not picking on anyone's 360. It was my new years resolution to do one before season end and I haven't even gotten the courage up to attempt it.

I'm most likely out. Forecast seems to be getting worse. Right now, Friday's looking sweet, though.: In fact, if anyone's thinking of skiing bumps that day, PM me...might be worth a day trip for me.

Poppycock....Temps are rising and chance of rain still at 30%. See you Sunday, at least come up and socialize. And if the "chick" is skiing..what does that say about the "junkie"?

I'm not an expert on what factors must be in place for great spring snow, but don't the temps have to go below freezing the night before? Right now, Saturday night's looking to be in mid-30s.

It helps, but not needed, I skied some nice bumps on Sunday in the Poconos and it hasn't gone below freezing in a week.

I just realized how dumb it is looking at forecasts on a Monday. St. Patrick's Day storm wasn't even on the radar till Wednesday. Will refrain from further speculation for a couple more days.

I thought everyone was showing up to meet me:
This little weather check, may have given me a reality check

In all honesty, could the conditions be much different from last year, considering that Kton has gotten so much snow in the past week?

I'm certainly going more to meet some fellow Bears before all the snow disappears more then I am to showcase my lack of bump skiing ability.

From accuweather.com

Saturday, Mar 31
High: 57 °F RealFeel®: 54 °F
Mild with clouds and sunshine

Sunday, Apr 1
High: 53 °F RealFeel®: 46 °F
Cloudy most of the time with a passing shower

Barring something dramatic like my car breaking down on the way up...I will be there.

Regardless of the weather, I will be there. I know I haven't met you, trekchick, but it will be too much fun to ski soft bumps in the sun while drinking cold beer to pass up.

Jeff,

TC doesn't drink, it will be up to you and I to make up for what she doesn't drink.

BTW, speaking of beer, is anyone bringing any? I am sure that we can get some others to chip in. Oh..and a bottle of scotch for me too

I'm gonna be there come hell or melted snow. And I don't drink either so you better bring a designated driver.

I have found that conditions are always better than what I expected them to be. If we get a freeze that will help. If not then we'll be skiing some slop and OL will be "calling us out".

I am still deciding if I will be up that weekend or not ... the only thing that will keep me away is a full-on downpour (I'm off to vail on Wed the 4th and see no need to punish myself ... hahaha).

If I come that means trek won't be the only chick ... hee hee. Where are the rest of the ladies?

Alfonse is bringing his daughter. She was amazing in the bumps last year. That girl is awesome.
There will be a minimum of 2 chicks on sticks, maybe more that aren't listed.

Don't forget its retro attire!:

C'mon Kev, you must have something.

retro attire ... OH BOY. I only started skiing eight years ago so I really don't have any funny old stuff.

Anyone got any white, rear-entry boots or a shiny bogner fartbag I can borrow? And, don't forget your fanny packs. hahaha

I actually do have an old pair of white rear entry boots and a fartbag(not bogner), but Im also flying in so Iwon't have room for packing extra stuff.
Not too late to go to goodwill and see what they have

Well I have waited until the last minute but I have to pull out. My business at this point is taking a good 60 hours a week and will consume this weekend as well. What I do over the next couple of months will determine the ultimate value of my business down the road. I cannot afford to let go of the momentum I have created. I don't foresee things getting better for a while either.

Pierre, you will be missed in a big way. I, however, can totally understand the work situation, as it has kept me away from a few phenomenal ski opportunities this season. Take care, and let me know when you come north again. Hopefully I can actually sort things out this year.

Glad for her but sad to say I'm out too.
My daughter has been named to ALL COUNTY BAND as a prelude to ALL STATE which leads to ...???
I'm sure a new trombone before new skiis.

Anyway I have four K-ton vouchers (make that three as ASE has dibbs on one) kind of like SAC. $35 each including USPS Priority mail.
