It doesn't look pretty, both runs had problems, but he has finished both runs of slalom. Cochran is out, Ligety did better second run, but first was a disaster...

Well, only 2 US men have scored SL WC points to date - Ligety in 12th and Cochran 27th.
I suspect Bode'll get a SL slot at the World Champs with his 25th today. Rothrock was a DNQ, finishing 41st in the first run - .36 out of 30th.... he hasn't had under a 16 point FIS result anywhere in Europe in almost 2 years.... hasn't even laid down one run this year. Oh well... First run results indicate a deteriorating course so Jitloff could only fight for 52nd, wearing 72, 6.27 out on the run.... Brown went out in the 1st, wearing 60.
So, it appears the Men's Team is a bit confused in their SL approach. Hmmmm....
Somebody needs to hang around with the Swedes. Eight in the top 23 is a pretty strong slalom team.
