Working on another limeric, since the last one was so well received. This one is about a man named Dave.

OK...MRI results....

It was a stressed MCL. Nothing too much to worry about and no surgery. Worst part, no skiing for a couple of weeks, so I am really only missing this weekend that was planned, I wasn't planning on skiing Pres. weekend anyway. I will be back for the end of the season!

Woo-hoo!!!!

What a drama queen!!

Kidding man .. Glad to see that it was no biggie..

Good for you Phil. So what did they give you to do for these two weeks?

I really didn't want the first post after hearing Phil's diagnosis to be picking on him, but i guess coug bet me to it...

excellent!!!

please still do your rehab exercises, however

OK - well that sounds good I think. As I recall that's what Patriots safety Rodney Harrison had that kept him out of the playoffs. 3-4 weeks is what they said at the time for him too ... hopefully skiing isn't as full contact as his job .

You heal very well.

Good boy!
Sit!

woof.

My Sentiments exactly........a real man can walk it off!

Glad to know it's a minor injury Phil. Maybe you can still do bumpfest after all

That's great news Phil. I had that same thing a while back. I whined about it too.

As long as you take it easy, you'd be ok at Mad River on Friday. Drs are overly cautious.

I am taking this weekend off. I know if I go, I will push myself. I want to be right for the rest of the year.

This is great news, Phil! Whew! Do the PT!

Blue Mountain this weekend. You had us worried. Is the ligament even partially torn? The results are in, and you aren't injured. Please return the flowers I sent you.

Haha, glad you are OK.

OOO good middle of a limerick

Twas a boy or a man, but who could tell
Tho he yelped like a puppy when he fell
Then he found he'd be just fine
in a short amount of time
So his day at Blue should turn out swell!

Phil's resting and lifting a brew
His knee won't be needing a screw
His scan won an Oscar
He'll live long and prosper
Next week he'll be skiing at Blue.

I should have been arriving at the Barn at Mad River right about now. I would head up to the bar and have Craig pour me one of his scotches. Damn.

If you're gonna spend the next few days whining about your missed MRG trip, I'm going to check with admin to see about revoking your posting privelages.

Suck it up and be happy you don't have to have surgery!!
