Bummer, Sib! Will you be stable
enough, is the question. It does you no good to push through to get out there earlier if you do more damage by doing so. KnowhatI'msayin?
PT yesterday was like being in a spa. My head and neck hurt so bad it felt like whiplash, and avoiding the near pileup on the freeway Sunday was probably the cause of that (see trip report in the trip report forum). I got a half hour massage followed by heat therapy and when I left I felt 50% better. Unfortunately, back to crap this morning.
There will be no Botox piccys. So sorry. It's not that kind of thing. All my wrinkles are in places the needle didn't go, dang it.
It took only a few minutes, but I didn't know he was going to stab me about 30 times. About 10 in the forehead, then on to my temples, the joint where my jaws meet, then at C1 by the base of my skull a few times, then neck and shoulders.
I'm thoroughly pierced. The assistant kept wiping as I guess there is some blood spotting. It didn't feel horrible at all. It was like a bee sting each time the needle went in, but it went away as soon as he went to the next one.
Jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, jab......he says, "Let me know when you need a break". I ask how many of these he's going to give me and how long it will take. He says he's halfway done but if we stop for a break it will take longer.
"Well, why are you talking!? Get on with it!" Jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, jab, jab.....etc.
I don't feel any different. It's a little sore, but not too bad. I don't feel a difference in the headache yet, but I should know something tomorrow.
Here's to the possibility of a clear head and the end of the hangover headache.
