Boot update(In case anyone is interested in my boot saga)
1. Removed the rear spoilers (Velcro), and buckled in. Two practice runs, and feeling much better every run.
2. Ran Nastar. Took three seconds off last week's time, although everyone was faster last night.
3. When these boots are cold, they are near impossible to take off!
4. They fit as is, with the exceptions of the arches (mine have flattened out over the years), one spot near my small toe on the left, and the inside lower part of both big toes. I think a boot fitter can easily fix these for me. I'd also like them softened a bit, and perhaps even a mod to make donning and doffing a bit easier.
Overall, a scalpel compared to the butter knife I've been using.
