I easily believe the first, but I have to see the criteria to understand the second. Is it based on skier only visits? or does it count snowboarders.
Since skier numbers have dwindled, that 34% decrease sounds like an increase if b going by sheer number of injuries. If that number is based on pure lift ticket numbers, which would include snowboarders, that 34% decrease would be a HUGE increase. Snowboarders have their own set of predominent injuries, but ACL tears aren't among them.
