I don't remember if there's a Gart's sporting goods store in CA, but I like to remind myself that it's now much less than 90 days until Gart's big Labor Day ski sale.
Halloween is the following month and Halloween's just a couple of weeks from Park City, Solitude, or Brighton's opening day....

lets pray for early season snowfall like 2000 so we can hit top to bottom untracked tram runs on Nov 10th!
this rain has gotta be giving snow to the higher elevations. what are your weekend plans round here?
Drive about 10 hours north, into the mountains. At 2am, when it's in the high 40s and windy, find an outdoor pool, put on your ski boots, take off everything else, and start doing new-school air off the diving board.
ryan, you can put your skis in the roof rack, jump up and snap in (increase the DIN), and have a friend drive you around so you can practice your tuck. We did this once in Jackson Hole until the cops let us know it wasn't cool.

Whatever you said in those prayers of yours, don't change anything. With all of this new snowfall today I'm thinking our options might just be a little better than they were yesterday....
