Gonzo said: I can't keep my legs together when skiing
Sugar said: Harold knows everything, SCSA snowplows.

I think that's the right translation. I never was that good at English.

I'm not a turtle or terrapin. I only attended Univ MD, I never graduated from that esteemed academy.

Zorro, that was funny - but you know, the last time I tried skiing with locked ankles, I ended up kissing moguls and cliff bands

I hate to rat these folks out, but all you have to do is copy and paste to the Spanish to English translator. Y'all are making me blush.

Easy. Just make sure you always go on the singles line by yourself.

I don't speak Spanish, and I'm not sure if this is the genuine, but I found this photo...

For some that is necessary, others do hable españoles - et les français.

Word to the wise - those translators aren't always accurate. Watch what you say!!

What's to blush about?

And just like the prodigal grue, I have returned! Anyway. Heh, that was probably the most spanish I've used since high school, which, of course, wasn't all that long ago. But in any case, to actually get on topic, I basically only like to ski alone when I'm practicing stunts, because then a feel like less of a twit when I pancake, but I suppose that's more of an embarassment thing than a companionship thing. Amusingly enough, last time I was at sierra@tahoe, there was a liftie that I saw and thought "Wow. She's cute", but I couldn't exactly say "nice run!" or anything along those lines, hehehe...

There's always:
Nice shovelling technique.
What time do we get off?
Have you got any Irish in you?

And I'm sure plenty of others, but I'll leave that to the more intelligent members of the board.

bwahahah, I was actually quite amused she remembered me from earlier in the day when I went back to her area of the mountain, she was checking lift tickets, my season pass was around my neck -somewhere- and as I was scrambling for it, she said "don't worry, I saw yours earlier" :P Another missed opportunity, I tell ya!
