First of all, excuse my english, because I´m from Estonia, and don´t speak nor write in english every day.
I have been reading this forum for a long time. Most interesting discussions have always been about ski gear. Because of good argumentation, I have always agreed with people here. But this post drove me off the edge, and I decided to register.
I have skied with variety of ski manufacturer products. From Völkl to atomic. from head to rossignol. And last two skis I had, have been Rossi.
Just 15 years ago, we didn´t even know what the alpine skiing is, because we just emerged from soviet union, and became independent. And i skied first time when I was like 17. And even I have seen the significant change in ski edge since then. First skis I bought, had much wider edge than The Rossi Radical I have now.
Second thing: Just can´t understand guys who have ALWAYS used the one manufacturer. And they are fighting for that like crazy. Just hear the guy out, don´t smash him right away. Some of you just read the first post and quoted that. Read the whole post, he explained himself. The post wasn´t about the durability, It was about the edge, what have been getting thinner and thinner by the years.
And for third:
You have seen the Borat movie? Congratulations! And of course you believe that? How many of you have been in former Soviet Union countries, that became independent in 1991? And tremendous work that have already done here in past 15 years. How we have to struggle here, just across border we have "mother russia", who constantly hassle us? Open your eyes. Everything is not as seen on TV. Especially Sasha Baron Cohen (I absolutely like him don´t get me wrong, he is doing great job).
I know that the third one wasn´t absolutely about ski discussion, but I just had to explain (counterfeit skis from kazakstan and edges made from melted sputnik) not funny! period!
Just a fan of BB forums, sorry if I insulted someone
