Yesterday was my first ski day this season due to family and work conflicts. It felt great. Definately out of shape as my thighs were buring after only 7 runs (2 groomers to warm up and 5 bump runs). It was at Eldora so short runs. Conditions weren't great, but enough packed powder and some wind blown staches. Had my daughter in a lesson as well and she loved it - yet again . That's good news for me as it will be easier to ski on Thursdays at MJ/A-basin/Summit if I take her along. Less guilt for me and easier for my wife when she stays at home. My wife should be skiing too, but won't want to all the time. It feels so good to be back on the MT - better late then never.
