Hes right about the peanut brittle you know. While the upper mountain at Mad was sick the lower half had a small amount of snow covering something akin to Peanut brittle. So stuff that had not seen lots of traffic was interesting. I had one of the most fiery crashes I have ever had as a result of it. I launched a ledge that was maybe 8-10 feet. The thing was I did it at mach speed. So when I hit the breakable crust I proceeded to do a front flip(not intentionally). The crash was so crazy that despite this happening under the lift I lost a pole which was never recovered and the toepiece on one of my bindings was flipped completely over. But hey at least the kids were entertained by it.
