I'm wondering if anyone had the complication of arthrofibrosis (scarring resulting in limited range of motion and PAIN) after ACL surgery. I did and it was two years of hell. Would love to hear anyone else's experience.
No ACL experience, but when I blew out my Achilles tendon and had it surgically reconnected, the doctor warned me that it was important that I get into therapy when indicated to keep the tendon from attaching itself to its sheathing and to get the tendon operational again. It was quite a process to get things working after nearly 6 months of casts and a boot.
