If a shop is marker certified the technician should have passed the certification test, and should have a manual that will explain the mounting procedures for all marker bindings, regaurdless of the type of ski it is going on.
That said, many of the ski binding systems are prety simple and some what "fool proof" (I know I am going to regret that). If it is for a piston binding system the shop only has to drill one hole, and there are normaly instructions for determining the placement of that hole in the binding box. For Many K2 skis the hole is already in the ski. I would say any marker shop should be able to help you. Or read the instructions and DIY, but then take it to a shop to have it function tested.
